Information we collect
We keep data collection to a minimum. Here is the full picture.
- What you type: anything you enter into a generator is processed in your browser. It is not sent to us or stored on our servers.
- Saved names: names you star are kept in your browser through local storage, on your device only.
- Basic usage data: like most sites, we may measure which pages get visited, along with rough location and device type, to understand what people find useful.
- Email you send: if you contact us, we keep your message and address so we can reply.
Cookies and similar technologies
The generators do not need cookies to work. Some cookies may still be set for basic site operation or by the advertising partners below. You can control or clear cookies anytime in your browser settings without breaking the tools.
Advertising and Google AdSense
We plan to show ads to keep the site free. When we do, partners like Google AdSense may use cookies to serve ads, and some ads may be based on your past visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalized ads through your Google Ads settings, or opt out of many ad networks at aboutads.info.
How do we use your information?
We use the little we collect for a short list of reasons: to run and improve the tools, to see which pages help people, to show ads that keep the site free, and to answer messages you send us. That is it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, or delete data tied to you. In the EU and UK that comes from the GDPR, and in California from the CCPA and CPRA. Since we hold so little, most requests are quick to handle. Email us and we will sort it out.
Data retention
We keep usage data only as long as it is useful, and we hold onto support emails so we have a record of past conversations. Saved names never reach us, so there is nothing on our side to keep or delete.
Children's privacy
This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we will update this page and move the date at the top. It is worth a quick look now and then.
